Since 2008, every set of Z Wheels has been thoughtfully designed and produced by our skilled team. With over 18 years in wheel manufacturing, we oversee each production stage to guarantee top-notch quality.

Each wheel design undergoes a rigorous development process, including advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA). We assess factors like vehicle curb weight, dynamic cornering fatigue, radial load endurance, and conduct simulated impact tests per German TÜV standards.

The outcome is a perfectly balanced blend of lightweight performance, durability, and structural strength.

Our aluminum forgings are produced under extremely high pressure and temperature to form a dense, multidirectional grain structure with exceptional integrity. Throughout the process, the material remains in a solid state while precision forging dies shape the aluminum into the cylindrical foundation of the wheel.

The forging is then flow-formed to create the rim section, aligning the grain structure radially so that maximum strength is achieved exactly where operational forces occur. The result is outstanding structural performance combined with reduced weight. These forgings ensure consistent quality, controlled grain alignment.

During this phase, the raw aluminum forging is machined into the preliminary form of the ordered wheel set and meticulously refined to achieve maximum concavity or optimal rim depth based on its intended application. Each profile is precisely optimized to maintain tighter tolerances, reduce unnecessary backspacing, and eliminate excess material resulting in a lightweight forged wheel with outstanding structural rigidity.

The milling stage is where the design truly takes shape. Through a sequence of carefully programmed tool sets and precision machining paths, each wheel undergoes a milling process that can last up to eight hours, ensuring exceptional accuracy and detail. Every profile is a distinctive blend of lines, curves, and radii developed by our engineering team.

Mirror-like surface

Mirror-like surface

Brushing and polishing are the most meticulous and time-consuming stages of the finishing process. Offered as upgraded options in every Z wheel collection, brushed finishes accentuate the natural beauty of the forged aluminum grain. In contrast, our touchless high-luster ceramic polishing provides a deep, mirror-like surface. Before applying any coating, each raw milled section goes through several phases, including deburring, hand filing, buffing, and polishing.

Our craftsmen use specialized tools to meticulously refine each profile. Every edge is sculpted to perfection and inspected by skilled hands. During this stage, we achieve both brushed and high-luster finishes. For wheels with multi-tone designs or a mix of brushed and polished surfaces, components may go through powder coating and metal finishing up to four times to ensure flawless results.

Our premium finish program starts with meticulously brushed or mirror-polished base surfaces. These are enhanced by transparent powder coatings that showcase the depth, texture, and character of the forged aluminum underneath. Each wheel component can be customized with your choice of Gloss, Satin, or Textured surfaces, allowing every set to reflect a personal statement of design and refinement.

The assembly phase is crucial in manufacturing, where precision and detail shape the final product. Each wheel is measured for run-out to ensure perfect balance, which eliminates unwanted vibrations and maintains flawless performance.

Once approved for assembly, our multi-piece wheels are crafted using lightweight PVD-coated titanium, stainless steel, or gold and black hardware. This combination ensures strength while enhancing aesthetics. Clients can select between hidden or exposed hardware configurations, allowing each set to showcase a unique blend of engineering excellence and personal style.
