EU Legal Guarantee of Conformity (English)

1. Key Information on Your Legal Guarantee Rights

  • Minimum 2-Year Guarantee: Under EU law, all consumers who purchase goods from Z-Performance (operated by S.C. DIZING S.R.L.) benefit from a legal guarantee of conformity of at least two years from the time of delivery.
  • Remedies in Case of Non-Conformity: If goods turn out to be faulty or do not conform to the agreed specifications, the consumer is entitled to have the goods brought into conformity free of charge by means of repair or replacement.
  • Price Reduction or Refund: Where repair or replacement is impossible, would impose disproportionate costs, or is not completed within a reasonable timeframe, the consumer is entitled to an appropriate price reduction or the cancellation of the contract (full refund).
  • Direct Seller Obligation: This legal guarantee is a statutory obligation of the seller (S.C. DIZING S.R.L.) and applies regardless of any commercial warranties.

2. Commercial Guarantees of Durability (EU GARAN Label)

In addition to the mandatory 2-year statutory guarantee of conformity, where a manufacturer offers a voluntary commercial guarantee of durability free of charge for more than 2 years covering the entire good, the harmonised EU GARAN label is utilized.
